Each October, OICR co-sponsors the Airstream Poetry Festival with Mother Foucault’s Bookshop, whose owner, Craig Florence, founded the festival in 2014. The event is held at the Sou’wester Historic Lodge and Vintage Travel Trailer Resort in Seaview, Oregon, the depot stop for the Clamshell Railway, a narrow-gauge train that ran on the Long Beach peninsula from Ilwaco to Nahcotta, 1889-1930. OICR poets have included Chibụìhè Obi Achịmbà, Leigh Biggerstaff, Annelyse Gelman, Romeo Oriogun, and Flávia Rocha.
